Can children travel unaccompanied?

Aero welcomes unaccompanied minors ages 5-16 (not including 16th birthday) with the proper paperwork. There is a limit as to the number of unaccompanied minors we can carry on each flight, so please reach out to us at at the time of booking and no later than 48 hours prior to departure to confirm your arrangements.

Minors age 16 and above may travel unaccompanied with no additional paperwork required.

All unaccompanied minors must hold proper travel identification, three completed copies of our Unaccompanied Minor Handling Form (which will be provided to you by our Concierge) and, if both parents or guardians are not at check in, a letter of consent, court order or similar proof of ability to travel.

Our policy requires the parent/guardian accompanying the minor on departure to stay at the airport 30 minutes after takeoff. Our Crew will accompany minors at all times and will check the identification of the parent/guardian meeting the minor at the destination to ensure it matches the instructions provided before releasing the minor into his/her care.

Please note: Minors who are residents of Spain will need written permission to travel outside of Spain, signed by a guardian.
