Europe
Small well-behaved dogs weighing 8kg (18lbs) or less, are welcome to fly on all Aero jets flying in Europe, except routes between London and Sion, or London and Ibiza.
Small pets should be added to your reservation at the time of booking on our website. The travel fee for a small pet is £350.
Pets flying with Aero must carry all relevant travel and medical documentation including a valid EU pet passport or UK Animal Health Certificate, a valid anti-rabies vaccination and, if entering the UK, valid tapeworm treatment.
The UK Government website regarding bringing pets into the UK should be read and can be found here.
Pets must be at least 4 months old, and be capable of not relieving themselves for the entire duration of the flight.
Each guest may only bring one pet on board, and we are limited to a total of two pets per flight. Pets will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis until the limit is reached on board. One passenger may not bring both a pet and an infant onboard without the assistance of a travel companion.
On our Legacy 600 pets must travel on the floor at their owner’s feet, and be secured with a tether for the duration of the flight. The pet must be wearing a suitable travel harness, as opposed to a collar. Aero will provide the tether that will attach to the pet’s harness.
On the ERJ pets must travel in a carrier that:
- Measures Less than 50x30x22cm (L x W x H), (20 in x 12 in x 9 in)
- Weigh less than 10kg including the carrier (the pet must weigh 8kgs or less)
- Fit comfortably underneath the seat in front of the guest
- Remain in the carrier for the duration of the flight.
Guests are responsible for providing a carrier for their pet, and this carrier will count as their personal item onboard but they may take a small handbag/manbag (half the size of a laptop).
