What happens if my flight is affected by adverse weather conditions?
If your flight is impacted by adverse weather conditions ahead of your scheduled departure time, you will be notified about any changes by our Concierge team. . Our Concierge team will keep you updated on the situation and advise if any alternative travel plans need to be made. Please ensure a mobile number for your group is added to your reservation so our Concierge can reach you.
If your flight is impacted once you are awaiting departure at the airport then our Hosts will provide regular updates and advise if any other travel arrangements are required. The Captain will update you of any changes while airborne. Note that cell phone and internet services will not be available at that time.
A special note for guests flying to Aspen:
If you are a Colorado regular, you’ll know that inclement weather can prevent landing in Aspen, one of the highest elevation airports in the US. When this happens, Aero will land at the nearest safe and suitable airport and provide complimentary shared shuttle transport to Aspen airport. Our two primary diversion airports (Rifle and Eagle) are roughly a 1.5 hour drive from Aspen. If you prefer private transport or a rental car, Aero can help arrange this at your expense. Note that shuttle services are provided by a third party. We will endeavour to maintain a low occupancy within the shuttle, and masks will be required.
